Since 2016, Cooper Consumer Health is the combination of Cooper and Vemedia, which created a leading player in the EU Consumer Healthcare space.
Since then the group has further executed on its buy and build strategy and now commands market leading positions and strongholds in several EU Consumer Healthcare markets, like the overall N° 6 position in France through its access to all 22,000 pharmacies, with strong brands like Oenobiol, Etiaxil, Pouxit and Insect Ecran; an overall N° 1 position in the Netherlands and a pan-European leadership in Calming & Sleeping markets with leading brand Valdispert and in the Medicated Footcare market, with the Excilor brand. Through its acquisition of Diepharmex laboratories, the Group's has further completed its offering in the category of Hygiene and Ear Care.

Its brands enjoy strong brand awareness in its key countries and via its distributors are represented in more than 40 countries worldwide. Cooper Consumer Health employs over 800 people worldwide.
In 2021 Cooper Consumer Health was acquired by CVC Capital Partners, Damier and Avista Capital Partners, with a significant reinvestment from Charterhouse.
